Born
in 1970, Budapest, Hungary
History
He started to learn from teachers in 1986, while he was a member
of the band Satöbbi.
In 1989 he began to learn in the jazz faculty of Bela Bartok Highschool
of Music where he graduated in 1992. That year he won a Hungarian
national cultural competition „Ki Mit Tud”, which helped him to
release his first album „Mundo”.
That time he has played on several records and been a regular member
of Rock Theatre of Budapest.
He formed his own band „Just Friends” and played in lots of groups,
e.g. Fusio, Ferenczi György and the H.D., Tea, Kiru Gotta Humble,
M.Á.K., Vasvári Pál band.
These days
He likes different styles of music. His play has been influenced
by the music of Charlie Parker, Cannonball Adderley, David Sanborn
and Gerald Albright (amongst others, the list would be very long).
His favorite styles these days are ethno and Latin music. The main
challenge for him is Dafina. As an every day works he plays for
the Orchestra of the Hungarian Border Guards, which also enlarges
his musical horizon.
